History

Champagne B. Gabriel was born of an encounter of two distant horizons, linked by chance in an unexpected and quite exceptional way.

It's the story of Yoann, born on a cradle of grapes, a winegrower in love with his vines, curious at heart and Agustina, originally from Argentina, passionate about the world of Andean wine that fate will lead to the realm of Champagne.

Owner of 3.6 hectares of vines in the terroir of Troissy, Mareuil le Port and Leuvrigny, Yoann took over the family business, which has been in the family for five generations. As a young boy, during the holidays, he accompanied his grandfather Jackie to work in the winery. Later, after working in Burgundy, he joined his father.

Inspired by the love of the vine that his father had passed on to him and motivated by his grandfather's visionary spirit, he set up his own business and would not take him long to develop the Domaine.

The Champagne

It involves the image of its creators: curious, meticulous and authentic.

Each cuvée of champagne B. Gabriel will surprise you with its uniqueness and complexity. Opening with subtle fruity notes, so pleasant, underlined by freshness, they fill the mouth in unison with its fine bubbles. Long on the palate, these champagnes have achieved a remarkably controlled balance between sweetness and acidity.

The House

The family Domaine of Champagne B. Gabriel is situated in Troissy, in the Vallée de la Marne. Here, that each generation of winegrowers has passed on its know-how, from father to son.

Bringing together the old and the modern, the press and the vat room were installed by transforming the old stables of the house. They were designed with a very specific objective : absolute control of the quality.

In this way we dedicate much passion and meticulousness as necessary for the vinification of each different cuvée.

Cuvées

We work perennial cuvées, resulting from blends with reserve wines which provide complexity, length and assert consistent quality.

Curiosity, passion and desire can lead us to wonderful discoveries: this results in the birth of genuinely personal, original cuvées, produced in limited quantities.

The vinification is made in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to control fermentation and extract the best aromas.

All our champagnes are very low dosed.

The terroir and the work of the vine

Champagne B. Gabriel comes from vines that have been cultivated by the same family for over 100 years. They are located on the outskirts of Troissy, Mareuil le Port and Leuvrigny, on the left bank of the Vallée de la Marne.

Our attachement to the land and desire to perpetuate it are one of the pillars of our philosophy. This is why we mainly use organic treatments, to preserve the quality of the soil and its bio-diversity, and to allow the terroir to express itself fully.

The clay-limestone soil composition, the average age of ours vines (40 years) as the exposure of them, mainly oriented to the north face as well, are at the origin of the tipicity of our different cuvées.
